Thanks to everyone who donated and spread the word about our Kickstarter fund! Everyone’s generosity has really floored us, and we’re excited to put out a quality product with all of your donations. We’ll be collecting everyone’s email, phone number, and shipping information via Kickstarter, but feel free to supply it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Here are the major stops within the first few weeks or so of our trip. We’ll update everyone else as soon as we can, because it’s a bit difficult to gauge just how long we’re going to be staying at each location, travel time, etc. We want to give everyone a solid date to make life easier, but don’t want to bind ourselves to a strict schedule just in case things take longer than expected.

Let’s get as much information as we can swirling around. Write your local newspapers/news stations and maybe they’ll do a story on the project and the local tank centers in the area. This may help to give a little boost to floating via local outlets.
A lot of people in the float community have been in contact to share their expertise and input, and it’s awesome to see how comprehensive we’re able to make this. So far, the documentary’s going to include quite a bit; the opening of our community float center gives the documentary its much needed centerpiece to drive the plot to make it more of a true documentary. When we get back from the trip, we’re going to be collecting a group of 3 or 4 people dealing with some form of chronic issue known to be aided by floating (PTSD, joint pain, back pain, severe anxiety), get them into floating, arrange for them to float for a month or so, and track and film their progress. This will be interspersed into the documentary, which will be a similar dynamic to Super Size Me, but in the opposite direction of health. Also, we got in touch with David, who recently started FloatTankShop.com, and he has a homemade tank he needs to get rid of before moving. After learning about our project, he’s giving it to us for use in the documentary. We’re going to find an avid floater who’s really in need of a tank and install it in their house. This will help show the options currently available for constructing homemade tanks for anyone who can’t afford to buy one or regularly visit a tank center.
